QF criterion - optimal size of portion

explanation:

The correct quantity is variable. It depends on your actual necessity of energy. This need is higher if you do manual work or if you do sports. In kids and young persons the energy need increases with increasing age. In older persons the energy need decreases. If you take your time while eating, after a while there is a feeling of repletion. Then, the correct quantity is reached.

how should I evaluate this?

Please watch carefully, whether the restaurant is flexibel with regard to the size of the portion. Are there small portions (eg for children or older people) on the menue? Do they have snacks? Can you order specific quantities individually (eg 100g of steak, carrots 200g)? For diabetics: can you order and receive your correct amount of carbohydrates (bread units)? Taken together, you should answer the question, how well you managed, to order and get the right amount of food (not too much and not too little) in this restaurant?
